Ellen Etten hails from Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes, and is now a comedy writer and stand-up comedian based in LA. Ellen recently sold a pilot to Warner Brothers and is currently developing a digital series in conjunction with Planned Parenthood. As a stand-up, she’s opened for Sarah Silverman, Nick Kroll, Natasha Leggero and Ali Wong, among others. Ellen’s written punch-up on various feature films and TV pilots, but her favorite job to date was writing for Obama’s re-election campaign.

Jill Sergison, MA, CNM, RN is a certified nurse-midwife with nearly 20 years of experience in maternal and family planning care. She was the NC Director of Policy for a reproductive health organization before co-founding Points True North (PTN) Consulting in 2022 and is currently engaged in the implementation of pharmacist-initiated contraception in NC. Notable recent policy achievements include work in the extension of Medicaid for Pregnant Women, 12-month dispensing of contraception through Medicaid, and pharmacist-prescribed contraception in NC. Jill is founder and Executive Director of North Carolina Nurses for Reproductive Rights and co-developed reprohealthnc.org, dedicated to providing reproductive health access information to NC residents. She is tri-chair of NC’s Reproductive Life Planning group, board chair of the C4 arm of Pro-Choice NC, and member of the NC Perinatal Equity Collaborative and its associated Policy group. She obtained her BS from Wake Forest University and her MA from New York University. She is currently earning a PhD from Duke's School of Nursing and studies trust in healthcare providers as a mediator of cervical cancer screening behaviors in Appalachia.

A Los Angeles based Production Designer and Creative Consultant. Elliot specializes in visual storytelling and impact media. She works in design for film, television, theater and many marketing campaigns. Working on projects for NBC Universal, Time Warner, Rabbit Bandini and The Spirit Awards. She has also worked with The Actors’ Gang Prison Project: A rehabilitative theatre program, focused on providing emotional tools to incarcerated individuals. Her non-profit work blends her love of art and aesthetic with her passion for social change and advocacy.

Weyni is an award-winning director. She's worked all over the world in both stage and screen.  Weyni is a committed mentor of new talent and a producer of youth arts initiatives.  She has been the co-director of the acclaimed A.M.Y. Project, training young women in performance arts since 2005.  She is also the co-founder and artistic director of the annual Selam Youth Festival, which trains and gives a platform to over 60 young artists from the Ethiopian and Eritrean communities annually.  She has two kiddos and would secretly love to have a family band where she plays the washboard.

Originally hailing from the East Coast, Kimberly Bye moved to Los Angeles almost twenty years ago to work in the entertainment industry.  After a decade of working in the film industry, she had her first child and became increasingly fascinated by human development, which led her to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University.  Kim found being a parent a tremendous learning experience - igniting an interest and passion in psychology.  Kim absolutely loves her job helping people discover their true selves.  She works with clients in a supportive, compassionate, and nurturing way; helping them identify strengths and define goals through a process of active listening, deep empathy, non-judgment and acceptance.  Kim has been happily married for over fifteen years and is raising two daughters in Los Angeles.

Sarah is a mechanical engineer, works in the Medical Device/IVD industry, including Quality Management Systems, Regulatory Compliance  Business Mergers and Acquisitions, Continuous Improvement, New Product Submission, Product Recall and Remediation, People Management and Process Management. 

In addition, she is passionate about nonprofit organizations in the St. Louis region that offer support for safe housing, healthcare and education; volunteering with Doorways Interfaith Residences, Springboard to Learning and the DePaul Foundation, along with FOCUS St. Louis 2015-2016 Leadership Class, working to better the St. Louis Region through commitment to community.
